what did i do yesterday?

what am i doing today?
flathunt, jobhunt, and the devouring of celia brayfield's deep france: a writer's year in the béarn, which i picked up just now at a camden discount bookstore for £1.99 (had been eyeing it for a week now).

so how's the flathunt coming along?
saw a really nice place the other day next to camden lock - 2-bedroom 1st-storey flat with private ground floor entrance, very nicely renovated. only problem is it's a tad too far from ucl for the £100/week/person we'd have to pay. so with great reluctance i said no :(
tomorrow i'm going to see another flat near mornington crescent. please let my karma be good!

so how's the jobhunt coming along?
got a call yesterday from an agency specialising in bilingual jobs - might be offered a part-time admin position requiring french. the woman said that if all goes well she'd call back today about an interview, it's now half past two and haven't heard from her yet. i've been jobhunting long enough to not get my hopes up, the job sounds kinda cool though (well i dunno how cool admin can be, but if there's french involved...) so i hope it goes through.
dumped my cv in a café in camden that's hiring weekend staff. we'll see how that one goes too. when i look at my cv i honestly can't believe that i'm that underqualified, so we'll see how it goes. comme d'habitude, on verra.

how was harry potter?
as exciting gut-wrenching nerve-busting heart-stopping as ever. would never have believed it of snape - i guess despite my tad wary nature i'm still a bit of a dumbledore at heart.
