had a simple but hearty meal of cheese and squash risotto at yam's place yesterday evening, followed by a 2-hour chat. how time flew, and how great it was to have a proper home-cooked meal, even if it was a simple one. i'm such a lazy cook that anything beyond minimal preparation is, well, beyond my patience

later i'm going to attempt spinach soup from scratch, haven't got the ingredients to follow a recipe so will attempt to mash olive oil spinach egg seasoning (curry powder?) together and hopefully the results will be satisfactory
