paris is lov-e-ly



this time, i manage to see a side of the city that i'd previously ignored. it's less touristy, but no less important - the bercy financial/business district

check out this cool pedestrian bridge



had delicious hot chocolate "à l'africain" at angelina, a large café-restaurant near the louvre. i am seldom one to pass up anything remotely chocolatey, but even i had problems finishing my drink, which was a bit too thick and rich! think melted dark chocolate + cream....



bref, je viens de rentrer à londres et je suis fatiguée. it's good to be back home in london, so many thoughts swirling around in my mind but let me have a short night's sleep first and maybe tomorrow i will write more
