spin

i got so drunk last night it was unbelievable.

it was the first time i'd ever gotten that intoxicated, and thank goodness i was with the right bunch of people.

we went to this rock club - like a clubbing club, but playing heavy rock and metal instead of dance music.

a whole lot of head-banging going on. i wasn't supposed to drink that much 'cos it was past 12am and i had a lecture at 10am and homework to complete by 12pm.

but after 2 bottles vodka mixers, 2 shots of apple-something schnapps, 1 shot of cointreau, and random sips (okay, gulps) of hel, sar and dan's drinks (all of this happened in less than an hour) i think i lost the plot a little.

at first i was shaking my head at hel (who's into rock music, guns&roses sort of stuff) and going, "no i can't dance to this!"

her wise reply: "yes you can!"

so for most part of the night the four of us were headbanging in a group, jumping up and down and as much as i'm sheepish to admit this, we had a hell lot of fun.

after we left the club (close to 3am), i was, sad to say, wasted. apparently i couldn't stop laughing hysterically, started running up the streets and across the roads randomly (hel's friend dan had to keep holding me up and running after me), and tried to roll into the large fountain at the junction of charing cross road and oxford street.

short of going into more details, let's just say i more or less lost my mind.

it feels good to get high, go wild and lose inhibitions, but when you wake up sobered albeit hangovered in the morning it is frightening to realise what you'd gotten up to the night before (or, in this case, a few hours ago).

i'll be spending my weekend replenishing my sleep.

or not.
