pre-match jitters II

i hope this doesn't happen to me every week *frowns*.

horrors of horrors, we don't have a proper kicker for tomorrow!

last week soph (our hooker) did the kick-offs and penalty kicks, and she did really well. but she's playing in a basketball match tomorrow so she can't make it.

i'm a shit flyhalf when it comes to kicking. last wednesday we had a scrum 5 metres from our tryline. to my delight, the ball actually came out of the scrum and rach (scrumhalf) actually passed it to me. i was going to clear it with a bomb-kick, but then the defence came bearing down on me and my kick grubbered away miserably. i think cccc scored a try eventually as a result. i was so horrified and embarrassed.

this won't put me off kicking tomorrow though. someone's got to do it.
