konnichiwa

i signed up for madness and mayhem. crazy french guys. again.

comme j'suis encore folle!

here i come.

.

kent match got cancelled, what a bummer! they couldn't form a team.

on the plus side, we get walkover points!

but next week's match will be extremely crucial - it's against the other 2nd-spot contender in our league and if we win it we'll probably end up 2nd in the table (no one can touch c4 at the top, that *#&$^ team (see past match report), they ought to be in a different league).

i think i might end up as flyhalf again though.

is it normal for me to feel pressured and a tad stressed about the whole flyhalf thing? i try to be confident and commanding on the field, but off the field, especially, there's always that nagging self-doubt at the back of my mind: do i have enough brains? or, forget brains, do i even have the 'legs' (i.e. speed) to pull it off?

time will tell i guess.

.

hel & i are going to watch a 4-hour long japanese music concert thing next tuesday. it should be cool.. i hope. hopefully nothing too cheesy.

french class tonight. haven't finished the homework. actually it's more like i don't know how to do 1/4 of the questions. got economics assignment and mega-philosophical geog essay to hand up tomorrow. *stress* *stress*

oh speaking of tomorrow - saracens vs newcastle falcons match. ah-vette lyn kp and i will be there.. long treacherous journey to zone a again. oh please let us not be late this time, our seats are unreserved and i don't want to end up sitting too low down the stands.

.

there are so many more things i could do here with my time, but it's so easy to just settle into a cosy comfort zone and get into a generic daily routine.

it doesn't have to - it shouldn't - be like that.

i want something exciting and different to happen every day.

like tomorrow, for example. got one class at 9am, and that's it for the day. maybe i'll head to the imperial war museum to finish going through the exhibitions.
