i had a job interview this morning - a proper job interview at habitat, the furniture/interior design retailer. for a part-time weekend sales assistant position.

personally i think it went well, the guy seemed pretty impressed when i warbled about my past, but then who knows. call me a cynic, but after 5 months here i now take many more things with a pinch of salt.

will find out by saturday whether i've got the job. i so hope i do - could earn more than £71.50 a weekend (doing the math, that's about S$900 a month), with possibly more hours during summer.

that's a lot of money. and i. need. it.

oh, and i'm so happy for wales. the kind of inspired pacy breathtaking rugby that they play is so cool. makes you go ga-ga the way the all blacks do too. i'll be a tough game against ireland though, hope wales go all the way to the grand chelem!
